Dearest Friends,

It took me a while to put down something to share with you about myself for this month’s Canvas issue. During this time, I tried listening to Jesus and felt that I must share with you what I've put down below.

Firstly, very often I make plans in my life thinking that they are from Jesus. He gently corrects me in these areas. Though sometimes painful, that’s His way of telling me that He still loves me, cares for me and I belong to Him.

Secondly, I have just little over a month left as group leader for the Come Alive Youth Group. I must confess that this has been a Jesus experience for me though at times I found it very challenging. I take comfort from the words of our beloved Pope John Paul II, ”Jesus loves us even when we disappoint Him”.

Love,

Eddie

The last few months have been a humbling experience for me to see the way Jesus has blessed me. I put it down to the visit I made to Lourdes in Oct'06. That visit to Lourdes not only strengthened my faith and relationship with Mother Mary but my life began to change in leaps and bounds, to lead me to where I am today. So where am I today? I’m married! Jesus has blessed me with a beautiful wife in Sandra and there are so many other things that I am grateful for. While I was receiving so much I was also aware of the scripture where Jesus says something like - to those who are given more, more will be asked of them. Those may not be the exact words but they came to my mind at times. I only hope and pray that I may remain faithful to Jesus always.

Just about made it!

With love,

Allan

Hi there,

Well, firstly thank you for praying for me! These past couple of months has been emotionally really tough, but spiritually encouraging.

Thru this time, I have became atonishingly aware of a few areas in my life that are not quite there... especially in areas of relationships.

If you are struggling in any area...please... Come back Home...to Jesus! HE will never turn his back on us no matter how wrong we think we have gone.

Please do continue to pray for me!... also because I will become a pilgrim for the first time in my life for World Youth Day in Sydney!

Jesus!! Be with each of you personally!

Love,

Al

Hi Guys,

A lot of good things are always happening in my life , but  I would like to share something with you, the past couple  months we have been looking out for a place to stay. Initially  we were  tensed, gradually we remembered the problems faced by Mary & Joseph when they were  in search of a place to give birth the king of the world , and as always,  God said WAIT & then gave  us the BEST  in HIS Time –  keep praying to St.Joseph – the patron Saint  of House Hunters, the catholic church , working people , married people, fathers, families, holy death and patron of so many other.

Pyaar hamesha,

Cedric

Hi Guys,

What I would like share in this issue is how Jesus continues to remain faithful in my life. Firstly, some of us know that I did struggle in my previous job as I had a very stern boss!! – anyways, my new boss is extremely understanding and supportive, and believe me, it makes such a huge difference to life, may Jesus be praised forever for this…..Lastly, I have been struggling a particular character within me and recently I was allowed to go through this emotional pain but it so happened that as soon as these feelings started to take over my whole being, it was time to pray and I remember begging Jesus to calm me down during that prayer and Jesus heard me, I was totally at peace and those feelings just disappeared, for me, this was a Jesus encounter….

Thank you guys for reading!

Love & prayers

Edwin……
